License for Non Food Items
Apart from the food articles, a license, under various control orders issued under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, is required if:-
- You are an agent or distributor of any of the oil companies or engaged in retail trade of kerosene oil.(Delhi Kerosene Oil (Export & Price) Control Order, 1962.
- You are dealing in requisition/store/sale of solvents, raffinates, slops or their equivalent or any other products that can dissolve in Petrol or Diesel. (The Solvent, Raffinates & Slop (Acquisition, Sale Storage & Prevention of Use in Automobiles) Order, 2000.)
For above commodities, you may apply on the prescribed form to Addl. Commissioner (Fuel), Food & Supplies Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, K-Block, Vikas Bhawan, I.P. Estate, New Delhi-110002. You can see the prescribed application forms for obtaining license in non-food items mentioned above in the section "License and Certificates" by clicking on Food & Supplies department. You may download the required application form and present the duly filled in hard copy to Addl. Commissioner (Fuel) alongwith the documents prescribed for food items and, for license of petroleum products i.e. S.K.O., Naphtha, solvent, raffinate, slops etc., you are required to submit, in addition, Explosive Licence and agreement with the public sector oil company (if any).
